ALAMA is an association of like-minded doctors with a special interest in occupational medicine, who work in any public or private sector organisation. Run by members for members, many doctors interested in occupational medicine have found it an invaluable association and resource.

Doctors working in other industries have also found our conferences particularly attractive, due to the wide selection of topics covered during the presentations. If you are a GP, this is for you!

alama.org.uk is a members-only website which is open to all doctors and OH specialists with a GMC number.

The cost of becoming an ALAMA Member is only £50 per year.
 

Our mission is to improve the communication, education, consistency and quality of clinical practice of occupational health doctors in the UK. If you work with local authority employees and employers (including those in the police, fire and the National Health Service) or the civil service and education, ALAMA membership has much to offer.

Networking, peer support and tailored CPD are the core of the organisation. Our private, secure website offers invaluable resources to all professionals including a Forum to discuss topical subjects and a Library archive to research many issues. The annual conference also gives members a wonderful opportunity to gather with peers and benefit from an outstanding educational programme.
